Butter, Sugar and Time. Mix Well

I realised this week that time is life's most precious resource and I'm wasting it on Facebook. Collectively, Americans spend more than 100,000 years on Facebook each month (Venture Beat). Remember Myspace? I (don't) remember how many hours I dedicated cultivating my online persona, to have it all amount to nothing now that Myspace is officially dead.

So in an attempt utilise my time better and avoid the temptation to waste hours on Facebook and other social networks, I have been forcing myself to get out and do things... ANYTHING, because almost everything else would actually be more worthwhile than refreshing my newsfeed and readjusting my profile picture.

I truly believe one of the best ways to invest your time is in your relationships because they are the only thing you are bringing with you into Heaven. I crashed my friend's Tuesday afternoon and I loved baking shortbread with her. We used cookie cutters in the shape of moustaches, Christmas trees and our Disney friends Chip'n'Dale to make trays of pretty Christmas short bread with this simple recipe!
